The 2010 911 GT3 might seem like more of the same from Porsche, but we think that’s hardly a bad thing. The combination of a high-revving flat-6 engine combined with excellent handling has never looked so appealing. Since its official unveiling, Porsche released even more gorgeous high-res photos of the car, along with a video of the new GT3 on track with legendary rally driver Walter Röhrl behind the wheel. Check out the new pictures in the gallery below, and watch a video of the 911 GT3 in action after the jump.

When you bash the Benz into some unyielding object and the entire front left is a mangled mess, what do you do? Well, this guy recognizes that the right side of the car is still fine, so he can still keep going, of course!
What’s really impressive is the high speed this French hooligan manages to sustain here, but it appears that long-term road-worthiness may be compromised.

Just when you thought there was nothing new left to see or read about the supercar for the masses Nissan GT-R super-coupe, a brand new prototype manages to turn up at the Nurburgring, and allegedly scorches any and all times set by previous GT-R test mules. The new GT-R car is supposedly a prototype for the upcoming Spec V version of the new R35 GTR and according to initial reports it will lap the Nurburgring 20+km track in just 7m 25s.This latest video above shows the car as it undergoes testing and reveals a number of important clues about the new model. For the observant watcher, the key difference between this latest prototype and the stock GT-R is the new front bumper with extra cooling intakes in the integrated lip spoiler. Other changes include some racing-style alloy wheels and new, larger, brake calipers – possibly with new carbon-ceramic discs.Previous generations of the Skyline GT-R, including the R32 up to the R34, included high-performance models dubbed V-spec. These cars featured improved braking packages, lowered suspension, and plenty of carbon-fiber and aluminum, and the latest generation is expected to be no different. Already there are rumors that the car will develop up to 550hp and could weigh up to 250kg less than the portly standard mdoel.
Late last year, Nissan insiders revealed a lighter and more powerful Spec-V model would be expected to arrive by 2009 and this video gives us a taste of what this car is capable of doing.

Watch the video, especially around the five minute mark, and you’ll see what I’m talking about. But be forewarned: that C350 Sport (or BMW M3) you’re considering will look a bit less appealing.
