Meet the , it gets an astonishing 65 mpg, but the carmaker can’t afford to sell it in the U.S. What’s that? If ever there was a car made for today, this would be it. The is a sporty subcompact that seats 5, has a navigation system, and gets a whopping 65 miles to the gallon. Oh yes, and the car is made by Motor Company, the company known mainly for portly gas hogs.

’s 2009 will go on sale in November 2008. But here’s the problem. This beauty, even with the car’s potential to change ’s image to help it compete with Toyota and Honda in ’s home market, will only be sold in Europe.
