The Mercedes SL65 AMG Black is everything the SLR is — intimidating, mean, nasty, and fast, taken to a whole new level. Mercedes Benz has now released 3 official videos of the SL65 AMG Black, The first features the new supercar doing its business on the track, making splendid noises all the while. The Second, shows all the exterior features of the SL65 AMG Black Series, and while the engine is off this video is still almost as impressive as the on track video. And the third video shows us the interior of the SL65 AMG Black.

We’ve tried describing the SL65 AMG Black before, but even taking into account the new Dodge Viper, we’ve still never seen such an agressive hood. But be warned, this car is not for the faint of heart. We heard that Mercedes was going to wait to unveil this car until the political state of the world settled down, for fear that Germany would be invaded for this Weapon of Mass Destruction.
From its 5,980 cubic capacity, the SL65 AMG Black generates a maximum power of 493 kW/670 hp at 5400 rpm and an electronically limited torque of 1000 Newtonmetres between 2200 and 4200 rpm. Without the limiter in place, the biturbocharged hand-built twelve-cylinder engine would achieve a maximum torque of 1200 Nm. How does that translate into real world performance? The SL65 Black Series can reach 0-62mph(100kph) in 3.9 seconds, 0-124 mph in 11.0 seconds and an electronically limited top speed of 186mph…

This thing is said to put out 661hp. BUt Mercedes should have tweaked the engine just a little more so it could make 666hp – much more appropriate for this car.
