Recently there have been many rumors heard about the 2009 Acura TL. Well, thanks to these spy photos, at least we can start confirming what to expect from the new TL’s external design. Our Honda-loving friends over at the Temple of VTec have managed to capture some spy shots of the new TL while testing. Even though there’s still a lot of camo covering the car,on the front end, the rear end exhibits a minimal amount of color-matching tape.

From what we can tell, this round of spy photos have a dual-pipe exhaust — rather than the quad-pipe we’d seen in earlier shots. Perhaps a 2009 Acura TL Type-S? We hope so.

With the Acura TL’s pronounced grille and sharp trunk line, the 2009 Acura TL is easy to spot. Yet again the fan-boys over at TOV have a new set of shots of the TL as well — check them out here.

You can see the airbags did deploy, though the entire steering column seems to be a good twenty feet from the rest of the car.
