Girl Sushi Car Logos
This is what happens when women with a peculiar attraction to seafood and automobiles bring out the sushi knife and the tuna.
Clockwise from top: Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Fiat (slanted logo in use between 1968 and 2000), Audi (on bottom), Toyota, Mitsubishi, Subaru.

Carol Shelby personally took the wraps off one of the most bad-ass street legal Mustangs ever built: the Shelby GT500 Super Snake Prudhomme Edition. This boss Mustang proves 750 HP is always a fitting tribute to end a current model.
Named for the Top Fuel drag racer, Don “The Snake” Prudhomme, who drove for Shelby in 1968, the Shelby GT500 Super Snake Prudhomme Edition features a lengthy listed of custom modifications. Aside from the 750 horsepower (800hp on race fuel) Kenne Bell-supercharged 5.4-liter V8, the car features a fiberglass full-tilt front end, Shelby rear drag wing, eight-point roll cage, six-piston front brakes, rear seat delete, coilover springs and Bogart wheels all in a street legal package you can purchase for $149,995. Now if $150K seems a bit high for you, Shelby will allow you to bring your own, previously purchased, GT500 in and they’ll do the retrofit for the low low price of $99,995. Production will be set at a very limited 100 examples…oh and if you didn’t catch it before, it’s STREET LEGAL.

Owners of Nissan GT-Rs with the new, updated launch control are starting to give their first impressions. So far, they’re almost all positive.
After the whole warranty-voiding Nissan GT-R launch control scandal, Nissan issued a software update purported to correct the problem. It affects Nissan’s launch control in 2 ways: by increasing the maximum RPM at launch with VDC on from 2,000 to 3,000 RPM and by decreasing the RPM at launch with VDC off from 4,500 to between 3,000 and 3,500 RPM.

This picture (and the ones after the jump) were captured during a deadly game of hide-and-seek between a hungry polar bear and an Alaskan man who stumbled into its path.
The bear — the only species known to actively hunt humans — stalked the man as he left his job as a surveyor in Barrow, the northernmost town in Alaska.
At first, he tried to hide behind the truck until, sensing his presence, the bear dived across the hood and pursued the man in circles around his locked Ford. Unable to unlock the doors quickly enough to evade his pursuer, the man gambled that the GM pickup parked a few feet over was unlocked. As he reached it the bear caught up and mauled the man, leaving over 100 deep claw marks in his back and head. Somehow, the man escaped, crawling through the unlocked door of the GM just in time.
