Spy Shots Mercedes Benz 2010 E Class & E63 AMG
Posted by Admin on August 26, 2008Loads of spy photos of the forthcoming 2010 Mercedes E-Class emerge, with spy shots giving us a fresh look at both the 2010 Mercedes Benz E Class and the 2010 Mercedes E63 AMG. Just like previous spy shots, both the headlights and taillights of the next E-Class remain heavily disguised, but the side contours are almost distinguishable despite the heavier camouflage over both the front and rear wheel arches.
As for the technical specifications of the 2010 Mercedes E63 AMG (internally named the W212 E class), power is expected to be supplied courtesy of the 6.2-Liter AMG V8 featured in the current Mercedes E Class, and 0-62 mph time should remain consistent with the outgoing model (about 4.5 seconds). Completing the package will most likely be the usual array of AMG-tuned goodness, including a high performance braking system, sport suspension system, etc.

Posted by Admin on August 23, 2008We weren’t given the details of how this sad event came to pass, but looking at the remains of this Bentley Continental GT you see here, but it was probably the most excitement this piece of prime real estate in Krasnoyarsk, Russia has ever seen.
Its worth shedding a tear when we see a mangled supercar, but as for this Bentley Continential, maybe not so much. Think about it: This was never a proper Bentley in the slab-sided, blower-equipped V8, rear-wheel-drive sense. No, the Continental GT is more of a new-money playboy’s car, and as such, they should be expected to be crashed spectacularly much to the amusement of others.
You can see more shots of this mangled 5200 pound monster after the jump.

Posted by Admin on August 23, 2008Despite the Mercedes Benz w221 S-Class being out for a few years now, the flagship luxury car has once again been named the best new luxury car in the Auto Express “New Car Honours.” This makes the 3rd consecutive year the Mercedes S-Class has won the award, yet another further testament to the luxury sedan’s impressive dominance in its respective segment.
According to Auto Express editor in chief David Johns: “Few cars have reigned over such competitive sectors with such complete authority as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class. To many there simply isn’t a better limousine. Beautifully engineered both inside and out, it’s one of those rare cars that is as good to drive as it is to be driven in.”
Dermot Kelly, managing director of Mercedes-Benz, added: “The S-Class has been an enduring success with press and customers alike and accounted for one in every four luxury saloon sales last year. We are delighted that Auto Express still recognises S-Class as the best luxury car in the sector.”
