Formula 1 Legend Michael Schumacher is remembered for his mad skills on the track, but the international racing sensation might only be mad when he allegedly might have ran over a pedestrian while attempting to overtake a pair of old ladies this weekend. Schumacher was apparently driving a Ducato van back from the Silverstone Classic in England when he knocked over Martin Kingham, who was locking up his garage. That’s right, Schumi loves the van. Accidents happen, but apparently the seven-time world F1 champ doesn’t like admitting he was wrong, at least according to Kingham. Read the rest of this entry »

Here’s something to get your blood flowing. A wealthy Arab, everyone’s guessing a Sheik, sent his black and gold Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 a whopping 6,500 miles from an airport in Qatar to Heathrow to have the car’s oil changed. The total cost of the shipment was around $40,000, which doesn’t even include the $7,000 for the oil change itself.
So what’s the problem you might ask? All cars need to get their oil changed. Exotic car owners everywhere are happy to see that a fellow gentleman of means is taking care of his Lamborghini. However, The average Brit, or at least the average Brit interviewed, is horrified by the carbon footprint created from shipping a car, especially a gas guzzler, that far for an oil change.

When the story first broke of Shia LeBeouf’s alleged DUI accident in LA this weekend, the name of his passenger wasn’t initially released. Well it turns out it was his Transformers 2 co-star and Australian hottie Isabel Lucas. When you’re Shia “The Beef,” and inexplicably famous after the first Transformers movie and this summer’s horrible crap-fest Indiana Jones flick, you too can aim high on the lady ladder too, even driving a standard Ford F-150.

A guy named Ed, who happens to work for Edmunds Inside Line (no relation we’re sure) just got back from driving the amazing 2008 Dodge Viper ACR from L.A. out to the Bonneville Salt Flats for some fun. An out-of-control Hertz Corvette ZHZ crashed into a popular and upscale Dallas restaurant yesterday, proving yet again the age-old axiom, “with great rental horsepower, comes greatly diminished responsibility.”
The basically brand new special edition “Velocity Yellow” ‘vette with a black hood and roof stripe was added to Hertz’s Fun Collection” lineup only about 1 month ago. So yea, it was about time one was smashed up by some idiot vacationer hoping to play with too much horsepower.
