Most car enthusiasts like driving around the Nürburgring for the challenge. For instance, you might decide to take your $120,000 Porsche around a sweeping right corner with a bit too much speed, correct, then correct again and then end up backwards waiting for the wrecker while a couple onlookers make quips about how much to sell the parts of your 911 GT3 on eBay. In this case, the challenge will be explaining to your insurance company what happened. Maybe this unlikely driver should say they were trying to catch Sabine Schmidt. That’ll work….
Fancy Driving Shoes: $300
Porsche 911 GT3: $120,000
Lapping Day at the Nurburgring: $200
Documented proof you have no idea how a 911 works: Priceless.
